Essential Living

I began by using EO’s on myself, my husband and my aging mom.  I saw many benefits and was always excited at the results we achieved.  Somewhere on that journey, my then 14 year cat (Zabra) was diagnosed with Transitional Cell Carcinoma of the bladder.  The vets gave her a couple of months to live even with surgery. With chemo, they added an extra month or two but more or less indicated that there was no cure.  Since there was no cure, I had nothing to lose by trying the EO’s on her.  I researched as many sources as I could find for application of the EO’s to my cat.  There is a significant amount of controversy out there about using EO’s on cats.  I however found a couple of vets who have had tremendous success utilizing the oils with many species of animals including cats.  I read as much of their experiences as was available to me.  Using their knowledge and information, I began treating Zabra with various VERY diluted oils via diffusion, paw application and sometimes even orally.  While in the end I was not successful in eliminating the cancer, I did provide her with 11 months of quality life that no one expected (except me).  The local vets were very curious and interested on what I was doing as I far exceeded their expectations of what could be accomplished.  We still discuss the oils on each visit around my other pets.
